AR Solutions will be attending the South by South West interactive festival in Austin Texas. SXSW brings together the brightest and most creative web developers, bloggers, content producers, programmers and new media entrepreneurs for five days of presentations, panels and hands on training. Some of their keynote speakers are Chris Brogan, Twitter CEO Evan Williams and Brian Solis among others. We hope to learn a lot and make great connections, see you there.

Bogotech Meetup is a community-led organization that looks to provide a space for discussion and demonstration of new technologies. The idea is to energize Social and Online Networks in order to make Bogota a technological capital.The event was a success and AR is proud to be part of this thriving community. AR’s web team has created a new app for Nelly Furtado. Now all her fans can receive all the latest news, videos, contests and more. The application works on Facebook and operates as an extra tab on your profile.This is just one example of how social networks help artists be more conected to their fans.

The Ricky Martin Foundation has created a call to action for the reconstruction of Haiti. Accompanied by his friends and colleagues Ricky Martin delivers a message of hope and commitment to the cause. Artists like Alicia Keys, Eva Longoria, Sofia Vergara, Janet Jackson, and Ellen DeGeneres have rallied together to help the reconstruction of Haiti. AR is working to deliver that message to as many people as possible. Build hope, build homes.

Nelly Furtado received a platinum album in the USA for her record sales on her spanish album Mi Plan. This album has reached the number 1 spot on the Latin Billboards and had the top selling digital album in 2009. AR’s Social Media team is proud to be able to be a part of her team and is happy to see the positive results of combining talent, with great songs and the support of her fans.

AR would like to congratulate Nelly Furtado for winning Revelation Artist of the Year in Premios lo Nuestro. In her speech Nelly thanked all of the artists that were featured in her album like Alex Cuba, Juan Luis Guerra, Concha Buika, La Mala Rodriguez, Alejandroa Fernandez, Julieta Venegas, y Josh Groban. She also thanked her manager Chris Smith, her A&R Andres Recio and most importantly her fans. We are proud to have made part of this social media effort and being the bridge between her and her fans.
