AR Solutions seeks a Mechatronic Engineer in Miami, FL

Duties are as follows:

• Reading and interpreting schematic designs, computer-generated designs and blueprints of home and office automation systems
• Overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance and repair of home automation systems; designing, installing, testing and troubleshooting home-automation equipment
• Investigating equipment flaws and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to make recommendations to improve the equipment
• Confer with designers, decorators, clients and acoustical specialists to implement home and office automation systems
• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and perfo1rmance specifications.
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve home and office automation instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems.
• Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
• Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
• Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
• Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
• Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechatronic and/or mechanical engineering plus 5 years experience required.
